“Really good and interesting films – a whole new world for us!”
A newcomer to WFF wrote that after attending last season for the first time.
It’s the kind of praise any artistic enterprise wants to hear.
Our highest priority: the interaction between audience and artists. The sense of community, of shared experience, that makes WFF an event. We love bringing in filmmakers to share their latest work, their stories, their triumphs and roadblocks.
But to keep doing so, we need you. Three-fourths of WFF’s annual income comes from contributions, and without that support we’d never have been able to welcome the hundreds of talented filmmakers who’ve been here.
One director whose short film screened at WFF called it “a world-class festival with a small-town heart.” With your help, that unique combination of intimacy and rewarding work - a source of pride to all of us at the Festival – will continue.
