The 14th Season

October 17-21, 2012 | Save the dates – one weekend only!

• WFF’s mission: to salute the past in the shape of movie classics; celebrate the present through seminars with provocative writers, actors, directors, and producers; and explore the technologies carrying film into the 21st century

• 130 features, 266 shorts since 1999

• Artistic partners/venues: MASS MoCa, Clark Art Institute, Images Cinema, ’62 Center for Theater and Dance

• Events take place just once, to give every film its moment in the sun and make it easy for guest artists to attend

• Among the films shown: Tape, Win Win, The Station Agent, Down to the Bone, Off the Map, The Puffy Chair, Shakespeare Behind Bars, Teeth, Grace Is Gone, Rocket Science, God Grew Tired of Us, Roger Dodger, Frozen River, I Knew It Was You, Spellbound, We Need to Talk About Kevin, and the Oscar-winning shorts God of Love and West Bank Story

• Honored guests have included John Frankenheimer, David Strathairn, Campbell Scott, Sigourney Weaver, Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Alec Baldwin, Brian Dennehy, Patricia Clarkson, Barry Levinson, James Ivory
